He Really Is The Man For Me
Headline: Obama To Be Prayer Day No-Show; President to Sign Proclamation, Observe Privately…
Me: You know, part of me respects the fact that he is at least not the enormous hypocrite Clinton was…becoming the most pious man in America for Prayer Day, then enjoying adulterous hummers the next–
My Husband: –Maybe that’s what he was praying for.

That is wrong. Funny…but wrong.
Omigosh…I am in the floor! You duh man, Matt! Are you sure you aren’t my half-brother? Sounds like something my dad would say…
you rock, bro.
On a more serious note…I figure he’s a no-show because it would be blasphemous for him. I mean…maybe it doesn’t occur at the time of day when he’s supposed to kneel facing Mecca to pray.
You know how you make a conscious choice to not assume someone is operating under the worst of motives? How the only way someone’s behavior makes sense is if they are truly awful with awful intentions, BUT, you’ve been wrong before and there MUST be some explanation beyond your reach…? I’ve been making a LOT of choices like that while reading headlines. I waiver between naive and full-blown-tin-foil-hat-wearing-conspiracist! No pun intended. Yes it was.
Yeah, I understand. But…if I see a rat and smell a rat, I tend to call it a rat. No pun intended. Yes it was.
